This will be our big trip of the year.

Mid-September is a very nice time of year in Michigan with mild temps and Fall foliage. I am currently researching an itinerary. I expect this trip to be “significant-other” friendly so I will be looking at Stay & Play options as well as “golf-only” if you want to find your own lodging.
